TCX uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies” to help TCX analyze how users use the website. TCX has a processor agreement in place with Google, which provides that IP addresses are anonymized; and that we do not share data with Google. In other words, Google is not allowed to use the personal data for own purposes such as improving Google products or services, or for marketing purposes.
On our website we provide you with buttons in order to share a webpage on social networks such as Twitter and LinkedIn. These buttons work through a code owned by the respective social network company. This code will place a cookie on your hard drive. We have no control over this code or cookie and thus refer you to their policies (which change frequently). However, as far as we are aware, the information collected through these cookies is, or is made, anonymous and transferred to the respective issuer of the cookie. Most major social networks such as Twitter and Facebook have stated to abide by the Safe Harbor privacy principles and are affiliated with the Safe Harbor program of the US Ministry of Trade.
To prevent misuse of personal data through the website, we have enabled encryption on our website. Through this encryption, the data traffic between you and the webserver is inaccessible for unauthorized parties. In addition, the entire network infrastructure is scanned for viruses, malware and intrusion attempts. Regular check-ups of the TCX infrastructure and the security processes are done by independent auditors.
The messages received from you through the LiveChat function on our website are saved. Upon using the chat function, you agree to us storing that information. We may use your contact details and the information you provided through LiveChat to contact you again, exclusively on TCX business related matters. Upon your request we shall delete all messages. Upon visiting our website your IP address is registered to allow us to start a chat with you, for the duration of your visit only.
You can (de-)activate Google Analytics and LiveChat at any time, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.
